KAWS (American, born 1974) This drawing on paper depicts two of KAWS's iconic Companion figures, rendered in a palette of warm brown, beige, olive green, and black, their arms gently intertwined. The characteristic 'X' eyes and rounded forms are prominent, set against a subtle background. Signed "KAWS 19" at the lower right. Unframed. KAWS (Brian Donnelly) is a renowned American artist and designer recognized for his distinctive characters across various media. His career began as a graffiti artist in Jersey City and New York, where he gained early recognition for modifying advertising images in public spaces during the 1990s.
