Buildings. Paul Strisik (American, 1918-1998) Watercolor on paper, depicting a sun-drenched street scene with whitewashed buildings, deep blue skies, and dark foliage. Strong shadows in warm ochre and brown tones define the architectural forms and ground. Signed 'P. Strisik' in the lower left. Unframed. Paul Strisik (1918-1998) was an American plein air painter renowned for his luminous landscapes. While primarily a New England artist, he also explored European subjects and painted extensively in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from 1976 to 1992, reflecting his diverse artistic travels and interests.
