Paul Strisik (American, 1918-1998) Oil on board depicting a vibrant still life of yellow flowers, reminiscent of Black-Eyed Susans, arranged in a white pitcher. The lively blooms are set against a muted dark green and grey background, resting on a brown surface. Signed 'P.STRISIK' lower left. Framed. Paul Strisik was an American plein air painter renowned for his landscapes and still lifes, known for capturing light and atmosphere. While primarily a New England artist, he also painted European subjects and lived and worked part-time in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from 1976 to 1992.
