A collection of three vintage German regional folk costume dolls consisting of two stockinette style dolls and one composition doll. The smallest doll, measuring 7.75 inches, features a stockinette or stiffened cloth head with hand-painted side-glancing blue eyes, red lips, and blonde mohair hair styled in long braids. She is dressed in a tan cloth cap, a blue floral patterned bodice, tan pleated culottes, and brown felt shoes with green accents. The central doll, identified as composition, stands at 11 inches and features hand-painted blue eyes and flushed cheeks under a curly brown wig. Her attire includes a black velvet vest over a white blouse with a tiered lace collar, a red skirt with black horizontal bands, a decorative lace apron, and red stockings. The third doll is a stockinette example with hand-painted features on a woven fabric surface. This doll is outfitted in a black ribbed knit cap with lace ornamentation, a floral print long-sleeved blouse, a black vest with lace trim, a floral skirt, and a maroon overskirt. All three dolls are mounted on white metal T-pole stands. Smallest doll height: 7.75 inches Composition doll height: 11 inches Tallest doll height: 11.5 inches. These dolls are in good vintage condition with expected wear consistent with their age. The painted surfaces show minor age-related wear, and the fabrics exhibit light fading and surface soiling. Some light yellowing is present on the lace components. Overall, the collection displays well and maintains a positive appearance.
