This lot consists of an Armand Marseille 250-7 socket head doll on a ball-jointed composition body and an Ernst Heubach 1902 shoulder head doll on a gusseted kid leather body. The dolls feature mohair wigs, blue glass sleep eyes, and open mouths with inset teeth, with the Heubach example showcasing a detailed velvet Red Riding Hood costume and the Marseille wearing a pink eyelet cotton dress. The Marseille doll is marked 250-7 and the Heubach doll features the characteristic horseshoe mark on the shoulder plate. Height 27 inches Height 21 inches. These dolls exhibit expected signs of age including surface crazing to the composition and typical wear with restorations to the leather body. The bisque heads and components remain in well-preserved state.
