Produced circa 1924, this German Armand Marseille My Dream Baby infant doll features a bisque socket head with blue glass sleep eyes and molded hair atop a restrung five-piece composition body. The doll is presented in its original sheer white cotton gown and woven wicker basket, with a newly added diaper as noted by the current owner. The reverse of the neck is incised with the mold markings A. M. Germany 341/4/0. 8 inches. The bisque head and sleep eye mechanism are in good order, showing only minor surface scuffing and expected grime. The composition body and original textiles exhibit typical wear and crazing appropriate for their age.
