This circa 1935 Effanbee "Patricia" composition doll features a jointed body with molded and painted brown hair and brown sleep eyes with intact lashes. The doll is marked on the upper back with embossed lettering reading EFFANBEE and PATRICIA and displays a distinctive pouting mouth. She wears a period-appropriate added blue and white gingham romper with a lace-trimmed bib collar, matching bloomers, a coordinated hat, white knit socks, and black patent-style shoes. Height: 14 inches. This doll displays expected surface crazing and minor paint wear to the fingertips and hair consistent with its age and material. The composition remains structurally sound, showing evidence of some restorations, and the socks have been glued into place.
