Vintage Sexton No. 7032 Cast Metal American Eagle Wall Plaque – 29-Inch Wingspan Impressive vintage American bald eagle wall plaque attributed to Sexton Metalcraft, identified by the star mark and cast model number 7032 on the reverse. The eagle is depicted in flight with dramatically outstretched wings, extended talons and finely rendered feather details. The plaque appears to be cast aluminum with a dark bronze-tone finish, giving it the substantial appearance of aged bronze without the excessive weight. Its broad 29-inch wingspan makes it especially suitable for placement above a doorway, fireplace mantel, desk or large piece of furniture. Likely dating to the mid-to-late 20th century, this striking piece has classic Federal, Colonial Revival and patriotic Americana appeal. Measures approximately 29 inches long and weighs slightly over 5½ pounds. Condition: Vintage condition with surface wear, finish variation, scattered marks and areas of oxidation consistent with age.
