Vintage Chinese Art Glass Flower Bonsai Trees

Updated August 22, 2026

Pair of Vintage Chinese Art Glass Flower Bonsai Trees in Celadon-Glazed Pots Charming pair of vintage Chinese decorative flower trees featuring delicate art glass blossoms and translucent molded glass leaves arranged on wrapped wire branches with textured faux-wood trunks. Sometimes referred to as Chinese glass bonsai or “Ming tree” arrangements, these decorative pieces have a wonderful mid-century Chinoiserie appeal. Each arrangement is individually designed. The taller tree features vibrant pink blossoms with yellow stamens and variegated green leaves, while the shorter arrangement has softer peach and blush-pink flowers, yellow stamens and translucent green foliage. The trees are mounted in coordinating but differently shaped pale celadon-glazed ceramic pots, each decorated with subtle molded floral and botanical relief. White crushed stone surrounds the bases of the trunks. One pot bears a square Chinese-style seal mark on the underside. Dimensions: Taller pink-flower arrangement: approximately 9.5"H Shorter peach-flower arrangement: approximately 8"H Vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The green leaf at the far right of the taller arrangement is somewhat loose/wiggly but remains attached, and no obvious missing component was noted in that area. The shorter arrangement appears intact. Due to the delicate nature of the individual glass flowers, leaves, stamens and wire branches, bidders are encouraged to review all photographs carefully for condition and completeness. A beautiful coordinating pair with excellent color and decorative appeal, well suited to a Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, Asian-inspired or traditional interior.
