1990 American Silver Eagle, an early issue from the U.S. Mint's American Silver Eagle series. Introduced in 1986, the Silver Eagle features Adolph A. Weinman's iconic Walking Liberty design on the obverse and a heraldic eagle designed by John Mercanti on the reverse. Please review the photos for the exact condition, surfaces, and overall appearance. The 1990 bullion Silver Eagle had a mintage of approximately 5.84 million coins. The bullion version carries no mint mark. A separate 1990-S Proof version was also produced, with a mintage of 695,510. The coin contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, weighs approximately 31.10 grams, measures 40.6 mm in diameter, and features a reeded edge.
