George McCullough oil on board depicting a loosely rendered residential landscape with mature trees, a winding path or stream, fencing, and a partially obscured house, executed in an expressive Impressionist manner with vigorous brushwork and areas of pronounced impasto. Bright yellow-green foliage contrasts with cool blue-gray passages and darker structural outlines, creating a lively, atmospheric composition with strong textural presence. Signed by George McCullough at the lower portion. Presented in a broad rustic wood frame with dark inner liner. Condition shows scattered surface wear, abrasions, soiling, and areas of uneven paint texture consistent with the artist’s technique, with expected wear and scattered marks to the frame.. Measures 19"H x 27"W and 27"H x 35"W including frame.
