Large assembled collection of cast gilt-brass furniture and architectural hardware comprising approximately two dozen decorative elements, including four substantial cabriole-form furniture feet terminating in pronounced paw-form toes with hollow square mounting sockets, four matching oval figural plaques or mounts richly cast in high relief with putti and classical pastoral imagery framed by dense scrollwork, four round floral rosette-form mounts, approximately eight pierced lattice corner brackets, and a matching pair of slender floral and ribbon-form appliqués. The paw feet are notably heavy, hollow castings designed to receive square wooden legs, while the larger oval mounts have integral attachment points and were likely intended as highly decorative furniture embellishments. The ensemble displays an exuberant late-19th- to early-20th-century revival vocabulary drawing upon Louis XV, Louis XVI and Neoclassical ornament, making the group particularly suitable for restoration of period furniture, cabinetry, decorative boxes or architectural interiors. Surfaces retain a strong golden finish with scattered oxidation, rubbing, darkening, scratches and remnants of prior mounting consistent with age and use; some pieces show minor bends, irregularities and wear to edges, but the collection remains visually impressive and unusually extensive as a coordinated group. Comparable gilt-metal and brass furniture mounts continue to appear at specialist decorative-arts auctions, including recently offered grouped furniture-mount collections. 22 total pieces that measures 4.5"H x 2.5"W to 5.75"H x 9"W.
