A circa 1930 Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company Martele line vase in softly frosted custard uranium glass, molded in high relief with a hummingbird hovering among trumpet-shaped blossoms, trailing foliage, and leafy stems. The sculptural decoration is enhanced with muted hand-applied washes of moss green, warm peach, and brown, creating a delicate naturalistic composition against the creamy translucent ground, while the gently flared mouth, rounded shoulders, compressed waist, and rectangular foot give the piece a distinctive Art Deco silhouette. Consolidated introduced its celebrated Martele art-glass line during the 1920s, with this form commonly identified as the Hummingbird and Honeysuckle pattern. The glass is reported to contain uranium and should fluoresce under ultraviolet light, though fluorescence has not been independently tested from the photographs. Condition appears generally good with scattered surface soiling, minor discoloration and rubbing to the applied color, light shelf wear around the underside, and typical manufacturing irregularities; no obvious major chips, cracks, or repairs are visible in the provided images. Measures 5.5"H x 3.5"W x 2.5"D.
