A charming American walnut side or work table, featuring a square plank top with softly molded edge above a single wide drawer fitted with two turned wooden knobs and a central keyhole. The table is raised on four slender turned legs with ring-turned collars beneath the block-form corners, creating a simple but well-proportioned vernacular profile. Traditional pegged construction and hand-cut dovetails to the drawer reflect period craftsmanship, while the warm walnut surface retains an appealing aged patina and visible grain variation throughout. The table shows scattered scuffs, scratches, finish wear, rubbing, small nicks, and age-related surface irregularities, with separation and damage at the right side of the drawer front and dovetail joint as pictured.
