A novelty snail-form accent lamp featuring a Tiffany-style stained glass shell. The shell shade is constructed of variegated slag glass panels in shades of amber, purple, and green joined with the copper foil technique and accented by rounded glass cabochons. The snail body features a dark bronze-toned finish and is made of cast resin or metal. This is a battery-operated unit fitted with an internal LED circuit board and crystal oscillator. The underside features a plastic base with a battery compartment, push-button power switch, and mode controls. The battery cover is molded with the text OPEN, THIS IS NOT A TOY, and MADE IN CHINA. Dimensions: H approx. 5 1/4 in x L approx. 7 in. Condition: The lamp is in good overall condition with no visible cracks or breaks to the glass panels. The leading displays surface irregularities consistent with modern mass production. The battery operation and LED functionality are untested.
