Embossed Metal Wall Mirror & Verdigris Gilt Finish

This rectangular wall mirror is constructed with a wooden frame base covered in a stamped metal overlay. The metalwork features repetitive embossed patterns including stylized foliate and geometric motifs within oval borders, accented bymultiple rows of raised beading. The frame is finished in a distressed turquoise verdigris tone with gilded highlights applied to the raised relief elements. A stained wood inner molding provides a secondary border around the clear mirrorplate. This piece exhibits design characteristics consistent with Southwestern or folk-art decorative styles from the late 20th century. 34 inches tall by 26 inches wide.This mirror shows expected light surface wear consistent with age and display. The distressed finish is intentional and part of the original design. The mirror glass remains clear with no visible silvering loss.
