A collection of 81 early 20th-century buttons featuring various novelty and geometric shapes fashioned from materials including Bakelite, celluloid, and other early plastics. The assortment includes Art Deco designs such as ribbed cylinders, a molded knot, and a football with white laces, all secured to three original merchant display cards. The reverse of the cards features handwritten notations in pencil and ink.Individual toggle buttons: approximately 1.75 inches in lengthRectangular buttons: approximately 1 inch in lengthCircular buttons: up to approximately 2 inches in diameter.Overall good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear, including minor scratches, scuffs, and small flecks of paint loss. The grey cardboard display cards show significant signs of age, including staining, water damage, and foxing. Several buttons are missing from the cards.
