This collection of approximately 70 vintage sewing buttons is mounted on four grey and tan cardboard display cards. The assortment features a diverse range of materials including celluloid, early plastics, mother-of-pearl, and metal, showcasing Art Deco geometric patterns, faux finishes, and novelty shapes. Notable pieces include a crescent moon-shaped button in a horn-like material and a large octagonal button with a raised concentric grid design.Large octagonal button: 2 inches diameter.Large geometric round button: 1.75 inches diameter.Individual buttons range from 0.25 to 2 inches diameter.The collection is in good vintage condition with minor surface wear and light scratches consistent with age and storage. The cardboard display cards show typical signs of aging including light toning, minor edge wear, and curling, while all buttons remain securely attached.
