This collection includes over 130 buttons in various materials such as early plastics, glass, and metal, predominantly in shades of black and navy. The set features a wide variety of textures including Art Deco geometric patterns, floral motifs, and high-relief scrollwork. Each piece is professionally mounted on cardboard display sheets, showcasing both molded plastic and faceted glass finishes.Large patterned button diameter: 1 5/8 inches (41 mm)Overall button diameter range: 1/2 inch (13 mm) to 1 5/8 inches (41 mm)Large mounting sheets: 11.5 inches x 9.5 inchesSmall mounting strips: 11.75 inches x 4.5 inches.The buttons are in generally good vintage condition with minor surface wear and light scratches. Some metal shanks and wire mounts show surface oxidation and rust. Cardboard mounting sheets exhibit aging, toning, and significant water staining with foxing on the reverse.
