This lot contains an extensive assortment of buttons in diverse materials including mother-of-pearl, faceted glass, carved wood, molded plastics, and decorative metals. The pieces range from utilitarian designs to ornate shanks and military-style examples with embossed eagle motifs. The collection is housed in two lithographed tins.Round tin: 7.5 inches diameterRectangular tin: 5.5 inches length.The collection is in good condition overall, showing typical signs of age-related wear such as minor surface scratches and faint oxidation. The lithographed tins exhibit light shelf wear and small abrasions consistent with vintage storage containers.
