Collection of Antique and Vintage Buttons

A large collection of 90 vintage and antique buttons mounted on three display cards, featuring styles from the late 19th through the mid-20th century. The assortment includes a variety of materials such as carved Bakelite, vegetable ivory, molded glass, Lucite, mother-of-pearl, and assorted metals with brass and gilt finishes. Notable pieces include a large hammered silver-tone metal button, several ornate floral gilt designs, and various geometric Art Deco plastic fasteners. Large metal button: 2 inches diameter. Other buttons: 0.25 to 1.75 inches diameter.The buttons are in generally good vintage condition with minor surface oxidation on metal components and light surface scratches on plastic elements consistent with age. The cardboard display cards exhibit significant wear, including edge damage, multiple tears, and a missing section on the lower card.
