Hand-Quilted Botanical Sampler Quilt

This mid-century botanical sampler quilt features thirty white cotton blocks decorated with painted floral motifs. The blocks are separated by yellow sashing with white cornerstones and the entire surface is finished with dense hand-quilting in a traditional clamshell pattern. The construction includes a solid yellow fabric backing and matching fabric binding.Measures: 80 inches x 94 inchesThe quilt is in good vintage condition with scattered brown foxing spots and minor staining visible on several white blocks and portions of the yellow sashing. Light age-related discoloration is present throughout, and the binding shows minor fraying consistent with age. The painted botanical designs remain vibrant, although some areas show fine surface cracking typical of the medium.
