Charlie Lisk (born 1952) is a highly prominent master potter based in Vale, North Carolina, deeply celebrated for his contributions to traditional Southern folk art. Operating out of the historic Catawba Valley region, Lisk is best known for his distinct swirlware "ugly" face jugs and his mastery of wood-fired alkaline glazes.
