Reichsbank 10,000 Mark Banknote, 19 January 1922

One German Reichsbanknote marked “Zehntausend Mark†and “10000,†dated Berlin, 19 January 1922. The printed paper note features a portrait, Reich seals, and a serial number that appears to read “F.18276143.†It is accompanied by a clear psleeve, paper or cardboard backing, and a handwritten identification label reading “GERMANY 1922 / 10,000 MARKS / INFLATION NOTE.†The note is housed beneath clear plastic, with glare and reflections limiting examination. Visible yellow-brownstaining, handling wear, and possible creasing or waviness are present. The sleeve and backing obscure portions of the edges and corners. The reverse, dimensions, and watermark were not examined. The handwritten “29†may be an inventory notationis not established as part of the note.
