One Philippine 10-peso Japanese occupation banknote, identified as the 1943 Rizal Monument type issued under “THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.†The note bears serial number 0176161 and is photographed in a clear display holder. The holder label reads “10PESOS WW2 INVASION NOTE.†The note has yellowing or tan toning, discoloration, folds or creasing, surface wear, and dark handwritten ink at the upper-left obverse. A red marking appears to read “(43),†but its exact significance is unresolvedGlare and reflections obscure some details; tears, repairs, paper integrity, and authenticity cannot be assessed confidently from the photographs. The holder and black support are visible, but their inclusion as sale merchandise is not independentlyestablished.
