Double Horn Bench Tool Estimated Date: c. 1880–1920 Era: Late Victorian to Early Industrial Era War: Pre-WWI to WWI Era Description Antique forged blacksmith stake anvil featuring a double-horn design with a hardened rectangular working face. This compact stake anvil was made for precision metalworking, tinsmithing, jewelry work, or light blacksmithing and mounts securely by its square socket into a stake or wooden bench block. The anvil displays honest age and workshop wear with a rich original patina, oxidation, and evidence of long-term use. Hand-stamped "H R" initials appear on one side, with an additional partially legible maker or owner stamp on the opposite side. Measures approximately 3.5” wide × 2.5” high. A desirable antique tool for blacksmith, tinsmith, and tool collectors, as well as an excellent display piece for an anvil or forge collection. Condition: Good antique condition with age-related wear, surface oxidation, and scattered tool marks. No visible cracks or repairs. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
