The machine offers 27 selectable utility, stretch, blind-hem, decorative and quilting-style stitches, with separate upper controls for thread tension, stitch width and stitch length. A large front selector dial provides direct stitch selection. Designed with a removable accessory compartment that converts the flat sewing surface to a free arm for cuffs, sleeves, trouser legs and other tubular work. Additional features include reverse sewing, automatic needle threading, top bobbin winding, a drop-in bobbin system, built-in work light, carry handle and integrated stitch chart. Power cord and foot control are included as shown. The rear identification label reads BROTHER ~ MODEL XM2701 ~ PRODUCT CODE 888-X16 ~ 120V ~ 60Hz ~ 54W ~ MADE IN VIETNAM, with serial number U63851-L0P513880.
