AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > A vintage custom-made ivory satin bridal gown with a separate coordinating train, designed for a taller, slender bride. The gown features a closely fitted bodice, long sleeves, a broad gently curved neckline, a defined natural waist, and a dramatically full skirt arranged in broad pleats. No maker’s label or standard size designation has been located, so fit should be determined through actual garment measurements rather than comparison with a modern commercial size. Large floral lace appliqués extend across the shoulders, upper bodice, waist, and skirt. The lace incorporates raised corded outlines and scattered pearl-like bead accents, creating pronounced texture against the lustrous satin ground. The narrow fitted bodice and elongated proportions contrast with the expansive pleated skirt, producing a formal silhouette tailored for a tall, slender figure. The separate train is formed from coordinating ivory satin and spreads into a broad rounded shape for ceremonial presentation. Mirrored floral lace appliqués ornament the lower portion near the curved hemline, repeating the lace treatment found on the gown and visually uniting both pieces. The combination of structured satin construction, long fitted sleeves, pronounced skirt volume, floral lace appliqué, pearl-like accents, and a separate formal train is consistent with custom bridal fashions of the late 1980s through the early 1990s. CONDITION REPORT > As discovered, not cleaned or altered. Likely typical and minor elements relative to age, use and materials. Substantially wrinkled from storage and has not been professionally cleaned, pressed, or fully examined under ideal conditions. Perhaps scattered discoloration, age-related toning, marks, particularly toward the lower skirt and train. The lace appliqués and bead accents appear largely present in the photographed areas. No representation is made regarding exact fit, concealed alterations, completeness of fasteners.
