AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > A unique metal rack measuring approximately 12" long × 2.75" wide across the lower panel × 4.5" tall, accompanied by seven removable glass tubes standing approximately 6" tall × 3/4" in diameter. Six have conventional open cylindrical tops, while the seventh features a flared funnel form. One opening remains, lacking a tube. The metal rack presents a long rectangular base with paired upper openings holding the glassware upright between shaped end supports. Heavy oxidation, surface rust, and accumulated residue create a distinctly aged industrial appearance, while the glass tubes exhibit staining and deposits associated with previous use. The precise original application remains undetermined. Such racks were made to organize laboratory sample or test tubes, while specialized glassware also served agricultural and dairy testing operations. Beyond the intriguing laboratory or farm heritage, the rack offers excellent potential for repurposing as a distinctive cottage style flower vase, propagation station, dried botanical display, apothecary accent, or rustic centerpiece. Individual stems placed within the seven glass vessels would create a particularly charming and unusual presentation. CONDITION REPORT > Expect varying issues and elements relative to age, long outdoor storage exposed to elements and materials.
