New LE CREUSET GIANT REVERSIBLE CAST IRON GRILL

The unused grill remains housed in the original illustrated retail box and bears UPC 024147004950. One side provides a deeply ridged grilling surface designed to elevate food above rendered fat while producing traditional sear marks on steaks, chops, hamburgers, poultry, fish, vegetables, and other foods. The reverse presents a broad smooth griddle for preparing eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon, hamburgers, sandwiches, and similar dishes. Integrated handles at both ends assist with lifting, turning, and positioning the substantial cast iron piece. Le Creuset enameled cast iron is valued for even heat distribution, superior heat retention, and the ability to maintain a steady cooking temperature across the generous surface. The protective enamel eliminates the seasoning requirements associated with unfinished cast iron while helping resist absorbed odors and flavors. The original packaging promotes healthy cooking with less added fat and identifies the piece as reversible, easy to clean, and suitable for indoor cooking. The original L0053 appeared in Le Creuset’s 2008 cookware catalog as the Giant Reversible Grill and Griddle, measuring 9" by 18", weighing approximately 9.8 pounds, and carrying a suggested retail price of $150. The design remained in production under the later L2066 20 model, currently offered by established cookware retailers at approximately $285 to $285.50, demonstrating the continuing popularity and substantial present day retail position of this large format Le Creuset design. The original box is marked LE CREUSET ~ ENAMELLED CAST IRON COOKWARE FROM FRANCE ~ GIANT GRILL ~ REF. NO. L0053 ~ 9" x 18". This earlier unused example combines French manufacture, versatile two surface construction, original packaging, and desirable new old stock preservation for practical kitchen use or inclusion in a Le Creuset cookware collection.
