R Serial # N441576. .44 Rem. Magnum caliber 6 shot double action revolver with an 8-3/8” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. Made c. 1972. N-Frame revolver with a pinned barrel and recessed chambers. The original blue finish on the barrel is in very good to excellent condition showing some very light holster wear at the muzzle with some scattered fine scratches. The blued metal finish on the fluted cylinder shows just a hint of some light edge wear with fine scratches and a very light drag line. The blued metal finish on the frame is in excellent condition showing just a hint of some light edge wear on the trigger guard and at the frame hinge. The checkered Goncalo Alves target grips are in excellent condition showing little sign of use. The target trigger and target hammer show good, slightly faded case color. Red ramp front sight, the rear sight has been removed. The action is tight and works fine. Includes a Leupold M8 2x Extended Eye Relief pistol scope in a Redfield mount and a wood presentation case. It appears as though there are 3 drilled and tapped holes on the top strap that do not go all the way through the strap. C&R.
