British Enfield Model No. 2 Mk I*

R Serial # B885. .38-200 (.38 S&W) caliber double action top break revolver with a 5” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. This pistol has the bobbed hammer spur which allows for double action only firing. The revolver is dated 1932. The black stoving paint on the barrel, cylinder and frame is in very good condition showing light edge wear with scattered fine scratches and some widely scattered light freckling. The smooth hardwood grips are replacements and are in very good condition showing little wear with some light scratches. The lanyard ring on the butt is a replacement key ring. The barrel, frame and cylinder have matching numbers. The action works fine. Includes a set of replacement grooved black plastic grips. C&R.
