R Serial # 3374557. .30 M1 Carbine caliber semi auto rifle with an 18” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. Made in late 1943/early 1944. The Saginaw marked barrel is not dated. Detachable 30 round magazine. The gray parkerized arsenal finish on the barrel is in very good to excellent condition showing little wear. The dark gray parkerized finish on the receiver and op-rod is in good condition showing edge wear with scratches. The rear tang is marked SG. The dark gray parkerized finish on the trigger group shows edge wear and light scratches. The flat bolt shows heavy action wear. The USGI low wood walnut stock and 2 rivet hand guard have been refinished and are in very good to excellent condition showing little wear. Faint WRA/GHD and crossed cannon cartouches visible on the right side of the butt. Type 3 barrel band stamped J.M.Q. Adjustable type rear sight. The action works fine. Includes a green canvas web sling with the oiler and a US M8 bayonet and scabbard and a box. C&R.
