R Serial # A4702. 9mm Luger caliber semi auto pistol with a 4-1/2” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. Made in Poland under German occupation. 8 round detachable magazine. Fixed sights. This is an early “Alpha Series” Type I pistol with the 3 levers, a slot for the detachable butt stock and a lanyard ring. Made during the German occupation of Poland in the early months of WWII c. 1939-1940. Stamped with the German Waffenampt Wa77 on the slide and frame. The slide is marked F.B. Radom VIS Mod. P35. Pat. Nr. 15567/“P35(p)”. The blued metal finish on the slide is in very good condition showing little wear with some light scuffs/scratches. The blued metal finish on the frame is in very good condition as well showing little wear. It has a plum hue which is correct for early occupation pistols as the Germans changed the bluing procedure early on. The returned to the original Polish procedure on later pistols. The black checkered “FB” logo plastic grips are in excellent condition showing little wear. The action works fine. C&R.
