Featured here is a World War I Prussian Imperial German Army enlisted soldier field belt buckle. The piece features a two-piece construction with a brass body and a silver-toned central medallion. The medallion displays a detailed Prussian crown inside a rope border, encircled by the motto GOTT MIT UNS over a laurel branch wreath. The buckle measures 2.5 by 1.75 inches. The reverse displays two circular solder points from the medallion attachment and houses an intact axis pin with a dual-prong fastener alongside a soldered metal belt catch tab. The buckle lacks maker markings and displays overall surface scratches, minor scuffs, and a natural light patina from field use. PM/RC
