A European medal group consisting of a German souvenir pendant and a Swiss shooting competition badge. The first piece is a gold-toned, diamond-shaped medal commemorating the city of Heidelberg. Its obverse displays a detailed view of Heidelberg Castle with the text ERINNERUNG AN HEIDELBERG, while the reverse depicts the Great Vat barrel inscribed HEIDELBERGER FASS. It features a single top suspension loop. The second piece is a silver-toned Swiss marksman badge produced by Huguenin Le Locle. The front depicts a helmeted rifleman aiming, inscribed WINTERSCHIESSEN 1936 above a split-field shield, flanked by dual suspension loops. The shooting badge shows heavy pitting and rust across the reverse. Both pieces measure 2 inches in height. PM/RC
