Issued in September 1942 for the German Winterhilfswerk charity campaign, this trio of pressed glass donation badges stems from the "Deutsche Baudenkmäler" architectural series. The pieces measure 1 to 1.25 inches high and feature detailed intaglio-molded lines highlighted with colored pigments. The yellow glass badge depicts the Mahnmal München memorial with a prominent eagle and swastika motif. The clear badge features blue-accented detailing of the Holstentor gate in Lübeck, while the amber glass badge portrays the Hermannsdenkmal monument. Each piece is designed with a curved top, a flat reverse, and a molded horizontal channel for a mounting pin. The surfaces show minor signs of handling and light age-related tarnish within the recesses. PM
