Issued in September 1942 for the German Winterhilfswerk charity campaign, this trio of pressed glass donation badges stems from the "Deutsche Baudenkmäler" architectural series. The pieces measure 1 to 1.25 inches high and display intaglio-molded lines on the front faces. The first badge, in light amber glass, portrays the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin with the inscription "Brandenburger Tor." The second badge, in blue glass, depicts the Battle of the Nations Monument, inscribed with "Völkerschlachtdenkmal." The third badge, in dark amber glass, features the Prinz Eugen Monument in Vienna with the inscription "Prinz Eugen Denkmal." Each piece has a curved top, a flat reverse, and a molded horizontal groove designed to hold a mounting pin. The glass surfaces show only minor handling wear and light age-related tarnish in the recessed detailing. PM
