Issued in September 1942 for the German Winterhilfswerk charity campaign, this trio of pressed glass donation badges stems from the "Deutsche Baudenkmäler" architectural series. The pieces measure 1 to 1.25 inches high and feature detailed intaglio-molded lines highlighted with colored pigments. The green glass badge depicts the Aachen Town Hall, inscribed with "Kaiserpfalz Aachen" along the base. The yellow-tinted glass badge features the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin with the inscription "Brandenburger Tor." The blue glass badge portrays the soaring facade of the Strasbourg Cathedral. Each piece is designed with a curved top, a flat reverse, and a molded horizontal channel for a mounting pin. The blue badge has a small chip on its upper right edge, and all three pieces show minor surface wear. PM
