This grouping consists of six cast zinc or pot metal charity pins from the German Winterhilfswerk (Winter Relief) campaigns. The assortment features historical Germanic weapon forms, including three distinct swords or daggers and three axes, such as a battle axe, halberd, and hand axe. Individual pin measurements range from 1 inch to 2 inches at the longest points. Four pins retain their inset glass or plastic accents in orange, red, yellow, and blue, while two axes are missing their center stone inserts. Reverses feature soldered horizontal pin fixtures. Stamped maker numbers are visible on the reverse of the swords, including "H 1" and "O 1". The metal surfaces display varying degrees of natural oxidation, heavy gray patination, and visible zinc pest degradation, particularly on the spear-point dagger. B
