This group features five miniature weapon pins produced for the Winterhilfswerk (WHW) charity donation drives in Germany during the late 1930s and early 1940s. The cast-metal collection showcases ancient and historical weapon designs, including a battleaxe, a short sword, a spearhead-style dagger, and two types of war hammers or halberds. Each piece is inset with a small glass cabochon mimicking a gemstone, featured in red, blue, yellow, and clear/white tones. Measurements range from 1 - 2 inches long. The reverse sides are equipped with functional horizontal pinbacks for attachment, and the dagger features a raised series registration mark reading "025". All pins display natural aging, minor storage blemishes, and a light white patina typical of vintage zinc or pot metal alloys. p
