This collection contains five metal shield-form badges representing various Germanic historical and cultural regions. Each badge is crafted with a central colored cabochon element mimicking historic settings. The reverse plates bear stamped German inscriptions indicating specific regional styles: "Swebisch" (1. Jahrh. v. d. Ztr.), "West-Germ." (5. Jahrh.), "Altschwedisch" (7. Jahrh.), "Thüringisch" (7. Jahrh.), and a teardrop kite shield marked "Normannisch" (um 1066). Fitted with horizontal pin fasteners on the reverse, these commemorative or educational pieces measure 1 to 1.5 inches along their longest dimension. Surfaces display mild wear, uniform gray patina, and light scuffs consistent with handling, with no visible maker's marks. B
