German Winter Relief Harmonica and Donation Pins

This trio features three German charity donation pieces from the 1930s and 1940s. The first is a miniature harmonica constructed of metal and wood, stamped "WHW GAU BERLIN" on the cover plate, and complete with its red suspension string. Measurements: L.- 1.5 in., W. - 1/2 in. The second item is a grey metal airplane pin bearing the raised Hermann Göring quote, "Das Deutsche Volk muß ein Volk von Fliegern werden." It retains a brass-toned horizontal safety pin on the reverse. Measurements: L.- 1 1/4 in., W.- 1.5 in. The third piece is a round Winterhilfswerk street donation token made of clear molded plastic, featuring a reverse-carved and painted cornflower motif with its light green hanging thread intact. All pieces show light handling wear and minor tarnish. Measurements: D. - 1 1/4 in.
