Designed for the manual routing of up to ten separate telephone circuits, this German military field switchboard is housed in a dovetailed wooden case with metal fittings and an attached canvas shoulder strap. The front panel contains two rows of rotary controls, a bank of labeled white selector keys, and ten lower line connections. Twenty numbered terminal posts are arranged across the top panel, while the interior retains its original patch cables, connectors, and German technical schematic plate. The case shows expected service wear, including surface scratches, scuffs, finish loss, and age-related wear to the strap and fittings. The original cables and connection components remain included. Measures approximately 13.5 x 7 x 6 inches and weighs approximately 17.5 pounds (7,938 grams). A substantial example of WWII German field communications equipment, offering strong historical interest and impressive display appeal. SC
