This WWII German Army (Heer) winter fur cap (Pelzmütze) features a field-grey wool crown and soft brown rabbit fur ear, neck, and visor flaps. Designed after the harsh 1941–42 Russian campaign, the fold-down flaps are secured at the top via a cloth button-loop. The interior is lined with tan quilted cotton twill and clearly ink-stamped 59 for size. The cap is in very good vintage condition, exhibiting clean wool, a supple interior, and intact fur with only light, natural wear along flap edges. PM
