This late 19th century Imperial German pewter beaker features a tall trumpet form with pronounced oak leaf and acorn decoration in relief. A prominent portrait of Otto von Bismarck appears on the body of the vessel, and a raised inscription along the rim reads "Wir Deutschen fürchten Gott sonst nichts auf der Welt". Crafted between 1890 and 1910, this beaker stands as a product of German patriotic and nationalist sentiment during Bismarck's era. The base of the beaker is pierced and split, with visible stress cracks at the seams and surface oxidation and wear. No maker's marks are observed. Dimensions: height 9 .5 inches tall. PM
