This original World War II-era photo album documents the service of a member within the Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD), specifically associated with Abteilung 5/81. The 9" x 12.5" cream-colored linen cover is embossed with the silver RAD spade-and-swastika emblem and the Fraktur title Aus meiner Dienstzeit (From My Service Time). Across 22 pages, the collection holds 75 original silver-gelatin photographs mounted on black cardstock. Notable historical content includes clear views of the camp entrance gate marked "5/81," uniformed personnel standing guard, and extensive records of group training and athletic formations. The photographs capture the characteristic RAD "work-soldier" lifestyle, featuring men with polished spades and traditional high-collared tunics.
