Tailored in the classic M43 style, this post-WWII West German Field Cap is constructed from dark gray wool with fold-down ear flaps secured by two silver pebbled front buttons. The interior features a grey cloth lining with a plastic sweat shield bearing the diamond-shaped logo "Alkero / Albert Kempf K.G. Mützenfabrik Wuppertal-Vohwinkel", marked size 57, contract code "20\66-BUND ZS" (Bundesluftschutz / Zivilschutz, indicating civil defense issue circa 1966), and a blank stitched name tag strip. Absent of national or unit insignia. Condition is excellent, showing minimal storage wear and sound construction throughout. BP
