This striking Native American art pottery vase is hand-signed by Navajo artist S. Blackhorse on the underside. Measuring 11 inches tall and approximately 8.75 inches at its widest point, the vessel features a classic bulbous body, a gracefully flared rim, and a smooth terracotta interior. The exterior showcases intricate sgraffito carvings meticulously cut through a matte black slip to reveal the warm clay beneath, further enhanced by hand-painted teal and green gradient accents. The richly detailed, etched motifs depict a traditional Kokopelli figure, a stylized hummingbird feeding from a blossom, and dynamic geometric feather patterns. The piece appears in very good overall condition, exhibiting only minor shelf scuffing and a small adhesive remnant on the resting base. See photos for full details.
