This substantial, unsigned circular drum is constructed from a framework of vertical, peeled wooden logs and features a full rawhide head. The hide is secured at both the top and bottom with thick rawhide cords woven through scalloped edges and around each individual log, creating a decorative zig-zag pattern. A hand-fashioned rawhide handle loop is present on the side. The piece exhibits notable condition issues in the securement cording, with broken rawhide cords visible at both the top edge and the base, as shown in the detailed photos. Measuring approximately 36 inches in diameter and 24 inches tall, this adaptable piece is offered with an included fitted glass top (not shown in photos) for use as a unique coffee or end table.
